Cryogenic Insulation

Our special kind of expertise on cryogenic insulation is necessary in order to handle the freezing temperatures of minus 163°C, store and supply liquefied natural gas (LNG)

From high-per­form­ance in­su­la­tion at gas plants and pipelines to stor­age and trans­port­a­tion tanks, we provide a wide range of ser­vices and solu­tions for the whole gas hand­ling chain.

The latest years, Insulate Ind has successfully carried through three projects related to cryogenic insulation on LNG terminal power stations. The starting line for us was the complete management of the new LNG power station of Malta (DELIMARA MALTA LNG TERMINAL, 2016). Following, we took on the simultaneous management of two projects on Revithousa Island. On the one hand the insulation of the transmission pipelines (starting from the port and ending to the 3^rd tank), all the network components as well as the pumps of the tanks (J&P, 2018). On the other hand, the insulation of two high-pressure pumps that have been recently replaced, the pipeline network from the pumps to the ORV as well as the new ORV (TERNA, 2018).
